About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full Time 8.30am until 4pm

Number of positions: 1
Qualifications Required: Yes
Start Date: 2nd June 2025

Salary: Grade 4 (£25,584 to £27,269 pro rata) TTO plus Inset days

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant level 3, who can inspire pupils to reach their potential. The successful candidate needs to be confident working across a range of ability levels and age groups.

Governors would love to hear from you if you possess the following qualities:

Excellent skills in terms of classroom practice
Have high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
Commitment and enthusiasm
An effective team member
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work flexibly, across all phases (from Nursery up to Year 6) in response to the day-to-day requirements of a large and busy school
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
Is able to demonstrate good use of IT to support learning
Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age
Experience of working with pupils with additional needs
Numeracy/literacy skills (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2)
NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
