About The Role

Contract Type: Temporary
Working Hours: Full Time, 27.5 hours a week
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications Required: Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards)
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum
Start Date: 6th January 2025
 
 
 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Girls PE to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy for a period to provide maternity cover, from January 2025 for a year, or upon the post-holder's return, whichever is sooner. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is always looking to deliver the very best practice in teaching.

You will have the determination to make a difference to our students by delivering stimulating and engaging lessons and challenging all abilities across all key stages.

Main purpose of the job:

  • The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.

  • These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for management time, working time, guaranteed planning and preparation time. The school complies with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers.

  • The post holder’s key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
