About The Role

Working Hours: 35 Hours per Week / Full-Time

Working Arrangements: Hybrid following completion of a successful office based induction.  You will be expected to be office based when on duty

  • Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Manchester’s expanding Adults Early Support Team; a city wide, multi-disciplinary team enabling the adults of Manchester to live their best life.

The Adults Early Support Team has emerged from Manchester’s programme of practice led, transformational change, Better Outcomes Better Lives.

Aims and Objectives

The Adults Early Support Team aim to:

  • Work with adults to maximise independence meeting need in creative ways.
  • Deliver a timely and efficient short term intervention which aims to prevent or delay needs for care and support arising.
  • To manage pressures and demands on long term services.
  • To network and build links with community assets, work collaboratively with partner agencies including the voluntary sector, primary and secondary health services, Children’s Services.
  • To incorporate ‘Our Manchester Behaviours’ into everything that we do

About the Candidate

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and creative individuals who can embrace change and work creatively with adults in a fast paced environment.  If you can ‘think outside the box’ and are passionate about improving outcomes for the residents of Manchester we would like to hear from you!

You will have experience from a social work setting and an ability to form good working relationships with partner agencies.  You will be working with on site partner including social care, the police, mental health and occupational therapy.  You will have an ability to adapt, shape change and expand your skills in this varied and exciting role.
