Essential Car Documentation- This post is a designated Essential Car User. Therefore, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work. You will receive the Essential Car User Allowance.  

Driving Licence The successful candidate should hold a full clean driving licence as you will be required to drive a vehicle adhering to council regulations.   

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join a very busy INT in North Manchester
INT Victoria MILL 
 
The role of the Social Worker:

To provide the positive strength based assessment and support planning of individual packages of care for service users and carers, e in line with criteria of eligibility and designated care plan under the 2014 care act . They also provide Social Work to support Service Users and Carers.

To promote the independence and well-being of adults of working age and/or older people; to assist social inclusion and valued community presence and to enable the widest possible expression of chosen lifestyle.

The successful candidate will also be integral in safeguarding investigations as well as MDT meetings to support individuals to maximise on independence where possible. The social work role involves duty support and support to peers, when needed. 
 
To maintain accurate and detailed records be motivated and forward thinking who can demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm.
 
To work in collaboration with our Health colleagues as well as other professionals to support individual needs 
to have good knowledge of systems and IT skills to record and update information and willingness to learn to use new systems
