Due to our new school opening we have new and exciting Teacher (SEN) opportunities to join our fantastic team at Orchard House High School.
The teaching posts are permanent full time roles to start in September 2025. The salary is depending on experience MPS-UPS + SEN allowance
Main purpose of the job:
As a Teacher you will be expected to match the characteristics described in the Professional Standards for Teachers and required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers.
You will be responsible for making an impact on the education progress of students and improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in the school.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To ensure that students experience an educational programme that is personalised to their needs, developing their skills and abilities
- Ensuring lessons are appropriately planned, delivered, and reviewed meeting the learning needs of all students
- To foster a positive working environment in the curriculum area that supports students’ learning
- Lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice (or work) of others
- Take an active role in the day to day management of the school
- Ensure effective liaison with internal and external support agencies
- Make an active contribution to the school’s ongoing self-evaluation process
