Teacher of Geography

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Geography to join our fantastic team at MEA Central

This is a permanent, full-time teaching post, to start in September 2025. The role is offered on the Teachers Main / Upper Pay Scale.

We’re looking for:

• You will need to be qualified to Teach and work in the UK with successful experience in the 11-16 phase.
• You will need to have thorough Geography subject knowledge and an understanding of current curriculum developments, you will also be a good communicator with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
  
• You will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.

Main purpose of the job:

The post holder's key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
