About The Role

Qualifications Required: Teaching Assistant Level 3 or equivalent is desirable
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: £25,584 - £26,835 per annum

 

The Governing Body of St Ambrose RC Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join their dedicated friendly and welcoming staff team.

We are looking for someone with a positive outlook, keen initiative and who is good at working as a member of a team.
 
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential, with the confidence to work across a range of ability levels within Key Stage 2, as well as good communication skills and the ability to relate to people.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
 
  • Is willing and able to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 with a range of children
  • Is committed to upholding and supporting the Catholic ethos of our school where everything is sacred
  • Is able to ensure challenge, achievement and enjoyment for all children through interesting teaching and learning experiences
  • Is self-motivated and able to work co-operatively as part of a team.
