We are seeking to appoint a compassionate and patient Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, to support pupils with a range of SEN needs.

 You should be child-centred in your approach and be able to demonstrate initiative, a willingness to be flexible and the ability to adapt calmly to ever changing situations.  You should have previous experience working with children with SEN needs including ASD. 

Although this position is are currently fixed term until August 2026, there is a possibility that this may be extended further if funding is made available.

We are looking for someone who:-

• Has experience of working with children in an educational setting who have complex individual SEN needs.
• Has knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties including Autism Spectrum Condition and learning methodologies associated with best practice.
• Has the ability to understand and develop the appropriate interventions that enable children to meet their EHC outcomes or personal targets.
• Has the ability to provide coaching and development to staff.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding issues.
• Is a positive and flexible team player who wants to make a difference.
• Is highly organised and motivated.
• Is positive and able to persevere.
• Can remain calm under pressure
