About The Role

Contract Type: Fixed Term
Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications Required: TA2 or degree or relevant experience
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: £20,912 - £21,662 per annum

Acacias is a good school with a very supportive staff team who have high expectations for themselves, their colleagues and their pupils.

We are looking for excellent teaching assistants to join our Teaching Assistant team (key stage to be confirmed)

This role would be particularly suitable for a graduate looking to gain experience prior to starting teacher training or a newly qualified teacher.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

Experience of working with children
Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or degree or relevant experience)
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication skills and the ability to relate to people

Applications from graduates without a teaching assistant qualification are encouraged.
