About The Role

Salary: £27,624 - £30,997 per annum

 

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 4 at Ss John Fisher & Thomas More’s Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will working specifically with children who have behavioural needs.  The post will be on a full-time (35 hours per week), term time only basis (39 weeks a year). 

 The role:

  •  Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to student
  • To work with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher including the delivery of therapy and programmes of work and implementation of ILPs
  • Manage the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
  •  Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
  • Act with the utmost integrity at all times
