Salary: £26,403 per annum

The Governors of the CLIC Trust are excited to welcome a new Teaching Assistant to our wonderful community at Old Moat Primary School.

We’re looking for someone who is not only dedicated and motivated but also passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives.

Following our Outstanding Ofsted grading in July 2024, we are eager to welcome a new team member who will feel proud to join us and play a vital role in supporting our school’s continued success.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Can deliver high quality teaching and learning.
Has a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment
Can deliver specific support to raise the attainment of under-performing children and groups
Can confidently cover a whole class on an occasional, short-term basis
Can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
Is committed to high standards and able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
Can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
Can keep detailed notes on progress and attainment
Is able to work effectively as part of a team
Has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community
