We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher (SEN) to join our fantastic team at Grange School.
This is a permanent, full time role on Teaching terms, the salary for this post is MPS-UPS plus SEN point 1.
Grange School is a vibrant and inclusive special school providing exceptional education for pupils aged EYFS to KS5 with Education, Health and Care Plans, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

- Have proven experience working with young people, particularly those with complex needs

- Able to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Are enthusiastic, caring, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for all learners
- Are willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities
As a Teacher at Grange School, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching and learning experiences
- Plan, assess and review lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ learning
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching strategies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies
- Support the wider school community and take an active role in school life
- Provide guidance on educational and social matters
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring rapid and sustained improvement
- Participate in school self-evaluation and improvement planning
- Uphold school policies and contribute to pastoral care and supervision
- Make an active contribution to the school’s ongoing self-evaluation process
