About The Role

Contract Type: Temporary, Term Time Only (39 weeks)

Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Qualifications Required: GCSE Maths and English
Start Date: 20th April 2026
Salary: Grade 3 £25,185 to £25,989 per annum pro rata

Moston Lane Primary School are seek seeking to appoint enthusiastic, highly motivated, caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team.

The role will involve supporting groups of children in class and out of class, with a strong emphasis on improving reading, writing and mathematics skills.

Candidates will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills and an assessment of these will form part of the recruitment process.

Please note shortlisting will take place on Monay 3rd March 2026 and successful candidates will be notified on the day. Interviews and assessments will then take place on Wednesday 5th 2026. As part of th asessment you will be asked tot plan and deliver a 20 minute lesson on a subject of your choice.
