The ideal candidate will be a team player who is committed to delivering high- quality, person-centred services, always placing customers at the heart of their work. The candidate will demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to change, taking pride in their role and contributing to continuous service improvement.
The candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals, understand their needs, and respond appropriately. The candidate will be well organised, able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
The candidate will also have good analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to interpret information, identify risks, and make appropriate decisions, including when to seek guidance. Strong administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping and a good level of literacy and numeracy are essential.
The successful candidate will either hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in health and social care, be willing to travel across the city and undertake an enhanced DBS check. They will also be flexible, able to work to a 3 week rota including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
