We are looking for a Caretaker with a positive outlook to join our staff team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to contribute to creating a safe,
well-maintained, and effective learning environment for students, staff and visitors.
As Caretaker, you will work closely with the Business Manager to ensure the smooth
operation of the school premises. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety,
security, and overall condition of the school site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Site maintenance and repairs, including regular site inspections.
- Health and safety compliance, adhering to guidelines and maintaining accurate
records.
- Security, opening and closing the school site, monitoring access and respond to
any emergencies (out of hours and weekend work in exceptional circumstances).
- Assisting with furniture moves, room setups for events, and cleaning, as well as
supervising the cleaning team.
- Seasonal tasks, including clearing leaves, snow and ice to ensure safe walkways
and carrying out premises and grounds checks.
