We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Finance Administrator to join our fantastic central team at Prospere Learning Trust.
As an Apprentice Finance Administrator within our Central Finance Team, you will work closely with the Finance Administrators, Finance Manager and Senior Finance Administrator to deliver high-quality financial administration across the Trust.
You will play a key role in ensuring finance transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with Trust financial regulations, procedures and best practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in finance while working towards a recognised professional qualification through an apprenticeship.
You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive team environment, developing practical finance and administration skills while contributing to the efficient operation of our schools.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Finance Team with the accurate processing of day-to-day financial transactions.
- Maintaining and updating financial records and systems.
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in line with the Trust's financial procedures.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
- Processing procurement card orders and supporting sales invoice processing.
- Posting income transactions to the finance ledger.
- Using the Trust's finance system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring financial records are maintained in accordance with Trust policies and financial regulations.
- Supporting the Finance Manager and wider finance team with projects and administrative activities as required.
- Completing all apprenticeship training, assignments and assessments to achieve the apprenticeship standard.
