Working Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3:00pm until 6:00pm, term time only

Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent.

Are you passionate about creating fun, safe, and engaging spaces for children to unwind after the school day?

We are looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Playworker to join our dedicated Out of School Hours (OOSH) team.

In this role, you will help bring our after-school provision to life, ensuring our children wrap up their day with a smile.

If you love fostering creativity, love outdoor and indoor play, and want to be part of a supportive school community, we would love to hear from you.

About the Candidate

Ideally, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is suitably well-qualified and has proven experience working with children or young adults.
  • Will support and design engaging, entertaining activities for the children, making full use of both our indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Ensures that the children are safe and secure at all times.
  • Is able to manage behaviour effectively, confidently following all school policies and procedures.
  • Is able to communicate effectively and warmly with parents and carers.
  • Will ensure that the spaces are left tidy and clean at the end of each session.
  • Can work well as part of the OOSH team, bringing a collaborative and positive attitude.
