About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri 35 hours per week
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications Required: NVQ Leve 2 or above or equivalent
Salary: £24,294 - £25,979 per annum
Start Date: 2nd September 2024

 

An opportunity has arisen within our successful and highly skilled team.

We are looking for a consistently humble, resilient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our SEND Team. 

The post holder will report directly to the SENDCO and be responsible for supporting with the supervision of a team of SEND Teaching Assistants, along with the delivery of programmes of work to support individual pupils and small groups throughout School.

 
 
 
 

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an energetic, committed practitioner – with a strong team ethos
  • Have excellent Behaviour Management skills
  • Be passionate about education in an urban setting
  • Have high expectations and a moral commitment to learning, achievement and the creation of a rich learning environment.
  • Have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification and/or experience
  • Possess an unswerving belief in reflection, collaboration, teamwork and feedback
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and unlimited good humour
