As the Reablement Operations Manager you will have responsibility for the operational management of Reablement Registered Manager and Reablement Team Managers citywide. The role holder will ensure the provision of appropriate services to ensure services are delivered in a way that promotes and maximises residents independence. The post holder will be accountable for delegated budgets and budget holders, ensuring that expenditure is within budgetary targets and all financial responsibilities are discharged in accordance with financial regulations 
 
The role holder will work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders to consistently embed Reablement practices across the city, ensuring a holistic approach to remove blockages, resolve issues and ensure the Council’s duties regarding hospital discharges are met effectively and efficiently.
 

The role holder will lead on the operational performance to ensure managers are maximizing efficiency, customer outcomes are positive and performance indicators are met in their localities, ensuring the team deliver a high quality service which meets customer demands and improves outcomes.

The role holder will represent reablement services and the department in service development with other key stakeholders including Health, the Independent sector and other City Council Departments.

About the Candidate

The post holder will be proficient with all aspects of management and as Reablement is a CQC regulated service the post holder will have knowledge of reablement services and have excellent time management and knowledge of safe system of work.  

The post holder will support the management of service demand and capacity through the collection, analysis and reporting of key performance indicators. Ensure the maintenance of accurate and appropriate records manually and electronically to achieve service performance and efficiency, enabling the service to develop and report achievements against local and national performance targets. 

The post holder will be required to work closely with various stakeholders both internal and external to identify safeguarding and mental capacity issues and refer as appropriateassisting in investigations of allegations of any form of abuse to vulnerable adults.   

The post holder will have experience of working in a Social Care or Health Care Setting with an understanding of relevant Social Care legislation

In 2014, the Cabinet Office introduced a minimum level of security screening for all staff that have access to any IT systems which form part of the Public Services Network.
