About The Role

Contract Type: Temporary, Term Time Only
Working Hours: Full Time, 3 x 35hrs x 39 weeks attached to individual pupil funding initially for up to 3 terms with a possibility of being extended
Number of Positions: 2
Qualifications Required: English and Maths to NQF Level 2, or equivalent
Salary range £24,404 - £25,183 (pro rata £20,992 - £21,662)

We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs including ASC.

The Birches School is a good school which caters for primary aged children with a range of special educational needs.

This is an opportunity to become a part of a positive and innovative team, that aims to provide high quality support for our children and their families.

About the Candidate

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant's to work alongside a class teacher, as part of a class team, to support the learning of small class groups.

Knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties, ASC and learning methodologies associated with best practice would be an advantage.

We are looking for a positive, flexible, team player who wants to make a difference.
