Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 per annum PLUS SEN1 allowance

 

We wish to recruit a full time, qualified teacher to work in our Specialist SEMH Provision and/or Cognition and Learning Resource Provisions. Initially temporary for a 1 year fixed term contract, in the first instance.

Bowker Vale Primary School additional resourced provisions cater for SEND children with Education, Health and Care plans for SEMH and/or Cognition and Learning. We currently have 2 additional classes.

 

Successful Candidates must have:

• Recent and relevant experience of working with children with SEMH needs and/or Cognition and Learning difficulties
• Excellent understanding of the needs of children with SEND
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work alongside a team of Teaching assistants
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• High expectations of children’s achievement
• Experience of working closely with families and other professionals
• The ability to be flexible, show initiative, be reliable and enthusiastic
