This role is subject to -
  • Medical Clearance - Pre-placement health assessment (PPHA)
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here.   • Evidence of conduct in previous employment concerned with the provision of services relating to. Health or social care or Children or vulnerable adults

The Performance Team within DSAS is responsible for gathering and maintaining accurate data that will assist with the governance, decision making and process mapping within the service. Current areas of focus, although more will be added as the team develops and grows, are recruitment, training, quality assurance and performance reporting.

You will gather data from a variety of sources to input into performance dashboards, which in turn will be used by the Performance Team to create reporting systems for the service.

The role will also involve visiting properties within DSAS to conduct quality assurance checks, meet with staff and citizens, and identifying areas where improvements can be made.

You will be required to work early and late shifts on a rota basis, and this will also include liaison with staff and the agencies to ensure that shifts are all staffed adequately. 

You will maintain accurate training records for courses arranged and following the sessions check and feedback on attendance. 

The role will have an 'office base' but will also require visits to properties for the assurance checks, and there will be the opportunity for home working on occasions.

About the Candidate

We would love to hear from you if you have experience of the following:
  • Provide and analyse effective and timely reports which meet service needs and identify trends.
  • Provide regular maintenance and administration to all existing DSAS and SBS Performance Team databases, including:
    • Microsoft Office and Excel
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Tanda
    • Just Roaming
    • Joined up
    • Eploy-Recruitment
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and take appropriate action as necessary
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with external contractors and stakeholders exploring and developing solutions and system functionality to add further value and service efficiency.
  • Support colleagues with the use of these systems and will be expected to work across the city as and when required.
  • Act as a key member of the team in the provision of a quality, value-added service support.
  • Play a key role in the development, maintenance, monitoring and interrogation of effective management information systems to capture essential data to meet the needs of the service. Provide high quality, customer focused, flexible and timely support directly contributing to the achievement of objectives of a high quality service.
    Effectively coordinate project work and lead on specific project work streams to support the delivery of a high quality service.
