- has exceptional knowledge and understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum design
- has a strong track record of securing excellent pupil outcomes
- demonstrates strong leadership in a range of school responsibilities
- is able to use data and a range of information to support strategic planning
- actively contributes to the professional growth and development of staff
- leads by example and has a track record of being able to exemplify and model high standards of teaching and learning
- shows clear leadership ambition and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic learning environment
