Working Hours: 35 Hours Per Week (On a rota basis, will include regular weekend working. )

Additional Payments: Casual Car Allowance, 6.7% Flexibility Payment

Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use. 
 
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as a Programming & Engagement Officer on a permanent basis. 
 
This role is instrumental in ensuring that we have a fun, friendly and exciting offer throughout the year for our millions of visitors. One week you might be working with a community organisation to deliver a programme of mindfulness activity aimed at independent adults, the next you could be creating a paid trail map which encourages families to explore our hundreds of acres of parkland and catch a glimpse of their favourite creepy crawly. 
 
This role will include creating, coordinating and delivery a high-quality programme of activities alongside identifying and delivering commercially viable opportunities and working with new and existing stakeholders, charities and community organisations. 
 
If you're successful in this role, you'll join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as we move from strength to strength with our delivery of an outstanding visitor offer.
