We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team at Piper Hill High School providing Safeguarding Administration Support.
We’re looking for:
- A highly organised, professional and compassionate administrator who can provide high-quality support to our safeguarding team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and experience of working effectively within a busy administrative environment.
- You will be confident using IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, and capable of producing accurate records and meeting notes. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrate tact and diplomacy when working with pupils, families and external agencies, and have a strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
Previous experience within a school or safeguarding environment would be advantageous, although not essential.

Main purpose of the job:
To provide efficient, responsive and high-quality administrative support to the safeguarding team and wider school.
The role will involve supporting the preparation of documentation for meetings, maintaining accurate and confidential records, liaising with parents, staff and external agencies, arranging meetings, taking notes, and ensuring safeguarding administration processes are completed effectively and within required timescales.
The successful candidate will support the team and play an important role in helping to ensure pupils receive effective support and care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing confidential administrative support to the safeguarding team
- Preparing documentation and records for safeguarding meetings and referrals
- Liaising professionally with parents, staff and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate manual and electronic records in line with GDPR requirements
- Arranging meetings, taking accurate notes and supporting follow-up actions
- Supporting pupil welfare and responding sensitively to safeguarding matters
- Assisting the wider administration team as required
