We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in creating a nurturing, stimulating and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting young children’s learning and development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
They will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning through purposeful play, helping children to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering a high-quality Early Years curriculum that promotes children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and secure.
- Engage children in purposeful play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Support the development of children's communication and language skills through high-quality interactions.
- Promote children's personal, social and emotional development, encouraging independence, resilience and positive relationships.
- Observe children's learning and development, contributing to assessments and learning records as directed by the class teacher.
- Encourage children's curiosity, creativity and exploration through child-initiated and adult-led activities.
- Help maintain an engaging, stimulating and well-organised learning environment
- Support children with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and participate fully in school life.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, contributing to effective home-school communication.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
