The successful candidates will work 1-2-1, with small groups of children, usually within a class setting to support children to access the curriculum or as a general class assistant (depending on skills and experience).
The post-holder should be patient, kind and supportive. There are a range of working patterns (including full time) available and pay will depend on experience (TA1 to TA3 posts available).
These posts would suit both experienced SEN, 1-2-1 or general class TAs but also those new to the role, looking to gain experience and develop themselves (as long as they have the right personal qualities).
We offer:
- A strong, supportive teaching and senior leadership team,
- Access to a range of high quality CPD,
- A TA Mentoring Programme which mirrors that of ECTs,
- Flexible working,
- Opportunities to collaborate and
- A commitment to driving down unnecessary workload.
The right candidate will know or have researched the area well and be familiar with the challenges it faces.
By they same token, they should appreciate and share the vision to provide all of our children with the best quality care, environment, teaching, learning and opportunities to grow.
Having recently undergone a successful Ofsted inspection, the right candidate will be prepared to help us to continue our journey to make the curriculum more meaningful and better for both the staff and pupils and provide ALL children with the best quality care.
