About The Role

North Ridge is an Outstanding specialist high school for pupils with persistent and complex special educational needs, aged 11-19 years.
 
We are a fast developing school split across two sites, that incorporates a range of student led businesses, located at our 6th Form Hub in Cheetham Hill.
 
The Governors seek to appoint dynamic, hard working individuals that are able to support pupils with special educational needs. You will be based with a class group of approximately 10/12 pupils supporting in all lessons and daily activities.
 
The successful applicants will benefit from working in a school with a positive, caring, ethos where team work is important and a supportive staff development and training programme is available.

The post holder will report to the Teacher/Senior Teaching Assistant. Apart from other colleagues in the school, the main contacts of the job are: Head Teacher, teaching staff, other support staff and pupils.
