As Assistant Headteacher & Behaviour Lead, you will be a key strategic leader working alongside the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to:
- Drive the development and delivery of effective, trauma-informed behaviour policies and interventions across both school sites.
- Lead targeted support and reintegration plans for pupils with complex SEMH, ADHD, ASC, and communication needs.
- Coach and train staff in restorative, de-escalation, and Team Teach approaches to behaviour management.
- Collaborate with families and multi-agency partners, including social services and CAMHS, to ensure consistent, holistic support.
- Oversee behaviour data monitoring, reporting, and the safe management of internal exclusion and support spaces.
- Champion the school’s nurturing ethos, Rights Respecting values, and Elklan language-friendly practises to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
